IRS has announced that 2020 would be a year that non-filers would be a priority. Then IRS was essentially closed down due to the pandemic. However, there was a gift to the IRS when a stimulus check was sent out to the citizens. Many of the people who applied for the check were non-filers. IRS now has the address and bank account number of non-filers. My guess many tax payers will be receiving a letter from IRS.
